Empowerment of adolescent girls in Sierra Leone

This study is about the empowerment of adolescent girls in Sierra Leone. In recent years, the national government has placed increasing emphasis on targeting the youth in order to improve their economic and social opportunities.

The study will rely on experimental data from a program that provides beneficiaries with a set of skills and financial services. The main research objective is to assess the impact of this intervention on the well-being of  participants. Another goal is to understand how the effectiveness of the program interacts with other aggregate shocks that occurred in the study areas.
