Renate Hartwig

Renate obtained her master’s degrees in Development Economics and Quantitative Demography from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and the University of Lund and completed her PhD at the Erasmus University in 2014. Her research interests are in family, health and welfare economics and migration particularly focusing on the effects of migration and transfers on investment, insurance and solidarity.
