Punjab Economic Opportunities Program (PEOP)
PEOP is a randomized control trial of the Government of Punjab implemented in partnership with the Department for International Development, Government of UK (DfID). It is implemented in the province's four poorest districts -Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran and Muzaffargarh-. Project's aim is to increase earnings and employment prospects of the poor and vulnerable households and its implementation design will contribute to the better understanding of market imperfections that poor households face and other underlying causes of poverty.
