Yiyang Luo

Yiyang is a PhD student at the Department of Economics at Essex and currently visiting University of Namur as a PODER fellow. Her main research fields are development economcis, labour economics and family economics. Her PODER projects focus on institution, inequality measurement and economic development, under Guilhem Cassan and Jean-Marie Baland. She also worked, together with Guilhem Cassan and Jean-Marie Baland, on an additional project on the evolution of poverty by proposing a new method to measure poverty that incorporates early mortality as an indicator of severe deprivation. Click on the research summary link below for more information on Yiyang's PODER research and papers.
