General Description
The summer school is intended for PhD students, post-docs and junior faculty members. The aim is to provide young researchers with an overview of the recent advances in impact evaluation methods and applications in development economics. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss their own research projects with leading researchers in a relaxed and open atmosphere, and receive advice and feedback.

Structure
The main components will be lectures by leading researchers and participants’ presentations.

Lecture topics include recent developments and challenges in randomized evaluations, the use of structural models in combination with experimental evidence, measurement questions, and the challenges and opportunities for nonexperimental evaluations of large interventions or policy changes.
