Tetyana Surotseva

Tetyana has completed her undergraduate studies at UPF in 2009 and received a Master's degree from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics in 2010. She subsequently enrolled in PhD program from which will complete in year 2015. From 2010 to 2014 she worked as a teaching assistant in UPF and BGSE, teaching courses on un- dergraduate and graduate levels in microeconomics, game theory, econometrics and development economics. As PODER fellow she worked under the supervision of Professor Oriana Bandiera and Professor Imran Rasul on the Punjab Economic Opportunities Program (PEOP) implemented by the Government of Punjab in partnership with the Department for International Development, Government of UK (DfID). It is a randomized control trial that aims at increasing access to livestock and improving livestock farming skills and techniques of the poorest households. Project's implementation design will also contribute to the better understanding of market imperfections that poor households face, among other underlying causes of poverty.
