CEPR Annual Symposium on Development Economics

The CEPR annual symposium of the Development Economics Programme will be hosted by Stockholm University on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 June, 2014. The meeting will be held jointly with the Policy Design and Evaluation Research in Developing Countries (PODER), Marie Curie Initial Training Network*.

We now invite submissions for the CEPR/PODER conference from interested researchers on any topic within the area of Development Economics. The deadline for submission isMonday 31 March 2014. Only full-length papers will be considered.

CEPR can cover accommodation and travel according to the new CEPR guidelines (www.cepr.org/sites/default/files/CEPR%20TRVL%20GUIDELINES%202013_0.pdf) for all presenters and a limited number of participants. For PODER Team Members, Early Stage and Experienced Researchers, the reimbursement of travel costs will be handled by the local nodes. Some funding is also available for external participants.

Authors who are CEPR members can upload their submission on dev3.cepr.org/accounts/login.aspAuthors who are not CEPR members can email their submission to [email protected]. Please indicate in your email whether you will be able to cover your own travel and accommodation costs, or whether you will require funding from CEPR.

All papers presented at the conference will be selected through this open submissions process. Please note that there will be time for only a small number of presentations. The conference lasts about a day and a half; there are no parallel sessions.
